To provide families of multiple births the opportunity to connect and engage within a supportive community. The outcome is to bring a sense of belonging, provide practical advice and resource and emotional support for raising multiples. These are now hosted online.
The Tasmanian Multiple Birth Association (TasMBA) is a not-for-profit organisation comprising of multiple birth families . The organisation, run by volunteer families with twins or HOM's, provides support, resources and education to multiple birth families.
TasMBA offers a supportive ear from “those who know”, however it is more than that: regular social interaction for those who feel isolated; whether it is home visits, a phone call, coffee mornings, playgroups, evenings out or weekends away; education at a local level such as expectant parent sessions or first-food introduction classes; breastfeeding support, equipment hire and, volunteer coordination and assistance. These services go a long way to help multiple birth families in raising their children born in very special circumstances

Nepean Multiple Birth Association (NMBA) is a not-for-profit organisation comprising of multiple birth families. The organisation provides support, resources and education to multiple birth families.
NMBA was formed in 1973 and is one of the 1st Multiple Birth Clubs to be formed in Australia. We are part of AMBA (Australian Multiple Birth Association) which comprises of clubs from across Australia. NMBA offer a supportive ear from “those who know”, however it is more than that: regular social interaction for those who feel isolated; whether it is home visits, a phone call, coffee mornings, playgroups, evenings out or weekends away; education at a local level such as expectant parent sessions or first-food introduction classes; breastfeeding support, equipment hire and, volunteer coordination and assistance. NMBA is coordinated by a volunteer committee who are all members and therefore parents of multiples with busy lives. We endeavour to support our members in any way we can.
NMBA runs regular playgroups and many lifetime friendships have been formed from this. We also encourage child free meet ups where you can relax and share your journey with others who are travelling with you or have been where you are going.
Geographically NMBA covers a large are from Lithgow in the Blue Mountains to Blacktown in Sydney’s outer west and from Wiseman’s Ferry in the north to Campbelltown in the south.
